Here are the notes for Patch 9.7 on Steam!

Features

  • Added toggle in the Options menu to disable already-viewed skippable cutscenes!

    • This means any intro/outro cutscenes (like the Liferoot Forest victory cutscene) that you have already seen won’t appear again. The exception to this is any cutscene that occurs mid-match (like the Betsy intro on Wave 5) as this operates differently from the other cutscenes.

  • When players leave a tavern, their towers are now automatically sold.


Optimization Bug Fix

  • Fixed a bug where the game would use an integrated graphics card instead of a dedicated card if both were available. This should increase performance for some players with high-end PCs.


Balance

  • Towering Poison Health Update

    • Increased Defense Health bonus of Towering Poison passive.

    • 80% Increase -> 130% Increase (Max).

    • Minimum values increased to maintain parity with new maxes, which should retroactively buff all existing Towering Poison items.

  • Crystalline Saber now follows the Loot V2 stat/passive rules.


Bug Fixes

  • Added a tentative fix for minibosses (like Ogres) getting stuck in spawners. Please let us know if you’re still seeing stuck minibosses and be sure to include information on spawn location, map, mode and difficulty.

  • Zen Monument now decreases time between healing ticks as intended.

  • Fixed a bug where the Crystalline Saber was dropping way more than intended. Now other build weapons should appear more often.

  • Fixed a Daily Mission issue where certain Daily Missions that were supposed to reward lockbox keys were, surprise, not rewarding those keys.

  • Fixed an issue where Fuse Initiate didn’t give enough gold. Now it does!

  • Fixed a bug where item tooltips wouldn’t display in the Inventory if a player opened and closed the chat window while the tooltip was on screen.

  • Fixed an issue where dragging the Scroll Bar down to the Pet Bag would cause the Scroll Bar to pop back up to the top of the Inventory.

  • Fixed a Daily Mission tooltip issue where the tooltips for the Random Consumables displayed only a few of the possible rewards (the pet eggs). The other consumable possibilities were omitted.

  • Fixed a text issue that would happen if a player rebound the Ready Up key.

  • Fixed an issue where the Holy Buff would stack on Temple of the Necrotic.

  • Fixed an issue where the Scourge Dragon’s projectiles would arrive after the enemy has already been damaged.

  • Fixed a War Table text issue where it would display “Knight Commander” instead of “War Table,” causing general confusion.

  • Fixed a tooltip display error.

  • Fixed an issue where the Betsy icon was displaying on the Harbinger HUD.


Other Notes

  • EU server is now located in Ireland.

  • Oceanic server is now located in Sydney.

The next PS4 update is tentatively scheduled for early February and will contain 3 major updates in 1 -- Alpha & Beyond, Ascension Part I and Ascension Part II!

HMm this is what was probably affecting me.. i felt a huge drop in the last patch. WIll test

[[4370,users]] The bug consist on the fact that if you remove the elemental chaos uber sphere to place some explosive traps, switch character, and switch back to your huntress, she will have the elemental chaos sphere equiped but will summon explosive traps instead.

The current way to deal with it is to remove the elemental chaos trap and reequip it.

Yes right , you fixed the issues for the Aussies , what about the rest of us from the other regions in Asia ?


The rest of us from Japan , from Hong Kong and anywhere else are getting 350 ms on AUS servers ( from <100ms)  .



Can you perhaps give us both servers ? The game is just not fun to play when u click on something and the client takes a while to respond .  Especially when you play the game on hectic mode where you need to click a lot of stuff , the ping differences get so much more noticeable .

Just wondering, what's the advantage in having the server in Ireland? Why not have the server in the middle of Europe instead, like, I don't know, Frankfurt? Or Berlin, Praha or Wien. Ireland is kinda off-center...

Two things that bugs me with the current patch, 

First 'Reroll quest' button is misspelled at the moment and says "Rerolll quest" three L's reallly? 

Second, Ireland for EU Connection? Get a server hosted in Sweden, Norway or France! (In case you didn't know Facebook is hosting their servers in the northern parts of Sweden and still have good connection to the entire world..)

No offence to the Irish but their internet isn't really on par with previously mentioned countries. 

(I have a worse connection after the server move than before and I have a 150 down / 75 up Mbit/s connection from Sweden, hence I suspect the problem is in the traffic between here and the server.)

Sorry for late reply ...

The bug happens without the character switching also.

Gates ... joining as huntress with ele sphere equipped. Starting to lay traps. Explosive traps are placed. unequipping ele sphere and back in again. Works now. On to the magic lanes. Unequipping ele sphere, starting to lay traps. Ele traps are placed.


It has been like this for months.

Ya. I'm from Sweden too, and it lags much more now.

No, I just have a laptop with integrated graphics and dedicated card.

One of those switching laptops, so sounded relevant to me. WIll test tomorrow

I'm a huge fan of the Poison Dart Tower becoming more prominent as a viable option.  Today's patch gave PDT some well deserved love but I want to share my thoughts on how its mechanics are still lacking...

1.  Please make the PDT more viable against ogres.  If we're building a lane with a wall of 5 dart towers firing into a Serenity Aura (220 DU) the dmg output should be worth the DU investment.  Perhaps decreasing the max DoT damage at full stacks but allowing each dart tower to apply a unique instance of poison.  Thus, an ogre in this hypothetical lane would generate 5 stacks of poison.  I'll probably expand on this point in a separate thread but you get the idea...

2. The hit box for dart towers is narrow which allows for tiny mobs to stand between them without being targeted by the tower.  This is annoying, but not detrimental...

i feel the delay since i play on this patch, a huge delay..
like i need more time to build and upgrading or something, kinda late responsive if i press the shortcut for build and i need to wait a few sec.. :(

im wondering can u fix this
i play at asia/oceanic server before the patch and it's smooth, maybe the reason of the delay is the server changed into sydney, but i dont know for sure, that's why i wrote this comment to you, hope u can check it out :)
