Welcome to our first Alpha hotfix! Please keep in mind, all items obtained with the bugged Serenity Auras that have an Item Power of 341 or greater were re-rolled to 340 with this hotfix.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that was causing the Serenity Aura to slow substantially more than intended. Serenity Auras no longer stack their slow effects.

  • Fixed an issue where special stats were displaying as .01 of what they should be.

  • Fixed an issue where players were not receiving the Nightmare accessories who should have received them. Anyone with an item that, unupgraded, was Item Power 241 and above, should now have the accessories.

  • Made a change where Ogres and Special Enemies do not drop loot on Wave 1 in End Game Nightmare. It's our current plan to remove these enemies on Wave 1 altogether in an update very soon.

  • Fixed another server crash.

  • Fixed an issue where Free Play Hard, End Game Insane, and End Game Nightmare had the rounds that would end before Betsy died.

  • Fixed an issue where the music track from Town Entrance would play behind the intro cinematic.

  • Fixed an issue where the Apprentice's charge shot did not activate traps.

  • Fixed an issue where curtains were blocking enemies from getting out of their spawn point. (We got new curtains.)

  • Fixed an issue where Incursion Ogres did not count towards Monthly Mission progress.


Known Issues

  • Players have reported on our forums that some passives are either too low or too high from what they should be. We’ll be addressing this in a hotfix next week.

  • We’ve received a lot of feedback about the Scavenger since the update released yesterday. We've made a post about the feedback on our forums and spoke about it in our Devstream.
  • We're still looking into the issue where players' Xpadder profiles are no longer working.

please fix the bug with the campagne mission defense the ramparts

i have clear the ramparts 10x or more and i have not more fun on the map

You are assuming that people can beat the mission to begin with. 240 gear does not guarantee being able to play through a 240 mission. No one is saying you get the best gear in the game this way, its not going to be effective in NM4, especially with the new 1000 iPWR maps and 700 iPWR cap. 

Its not fun to play a game, lose continuously on wave 1 or 2 and not get any gear. Getting gear drops allows you the change to slightly improve and make it farther in that mission. Eventually yes, you will be well geared and move on to another harder map, where this will probably happen again. BUT THAT IS HOW THIS GAME IS SET UP FOR PROGRESSION.

Force of will, will not progress you through this game, getting gear will. You can't go back and get better gear to help with harder missions because it isn't strong enough. You can only hope to get gear from that mission to progress.

Maybe one day the iPWR ranges will overlap, such that completing block 3 maps on Insane will yield better gear than Block 1 NM1 so that you can go back, complete full maps and gear up to progress through NM1. As it is now, you have to keep pushing forward to ever increase your iPWR and its difficult to beat the maps (especially solo) when you gear isn't up to par and there is no way of getting gear on par, other than playing that map.

Complaining about bug using? I've got full 240-320 iPWR gear, and can't complete GATES on NM1 End Game. The "rebalancing" of this game was tested by spawning fully geared characters with Legendary equipment. You think that's real testing? I bet I could beat my head against a brick wall while summoning garbage defense builds, and still win if I could do something ridiculous like that.

The "testing" doesn't occur at the level it needs to, because the DEV's would rather spend time developing new costumes for real money. They sure put a lot of emphasis on those Rocket Boots instead of keeping their promises about reseting gear. So, tell me Mr. Sombrero: "How do you build these levels wiser than the rest of us who don't use bugs / glitches?"

They should be in your mailbox. If they are not, it means either you collected them, or they were not delivered. If you collected them and do not have them now, it means you might have sold the accessories. You can sell them for 10 gold each.

Some people do not understand that people working on costumes are not the ones that write the code.

that is tiered steam not help want to scare so your costumers


das ist traurig steam hilft noch nicht mal wollen die so ihre kunden vergraulen

Please fix the NM. Ive tried beating the first NM1 map solo, with a friend and with a group of 4 and none of it worked. We all had pretty good equipment bc we farmed insane mode betsy and we had good passives. You said it would be possible to go through NM1 with only one character class if i am not mistaken but ive tried it with 3 characters and wasnt able to do it. The best build yet was the ony with a squire that had the sploody harpoon passive (97 percent) on defense health and defense power (plus tanky spheres), another squire with hearty blockade passive on hero health and defense health (plus tanky spheres), a monk with serenity aura passive (the slow on 15 percent and higher range) on defense power and a huntress (unfortanetly withought ECT so we had to use balloons :/) on defense power. We found out that this build (and only 2 player with squires to tank) was the most effective one after trying out a lot of builds. But we still couldnt even handle the first round. of course if we wouldve used ECT and the buff through the apprentice we couldve had a better chance but this difficulty is just ridiculous.

Damn soo hard to play this game now,  nowhere near as enjoyable as pre patch, i think all this talk about gear n NM is important and all but other things are seriously being overlooked. eg pets, the whole system is a mess! is a mythic better then a legendary ? the stats dont say so, also whats all this bs about hatching a specific pet with different rarities?? upgrading a pet is a pain and re rolling doesn't seem to know limits of a players pocket, 50,000 for a pet re roll!!  wtf are you guys smoking coz i need some of it to carry on playing this game

nm1 inc alone, with people is impossible to do a map. You need the right passives in items to do that ...  So hard to get better gear 11i35o1.jpg

Nightmare 1 is rock solid now. I have managed to get to wave 5 on the first level. The loot the bosses drop is rubbish though and can't help me get any further.

That is the main problem. Give out 300ipow gear here and may be able to get to the next wave.

The second problem is the defenses i have to use. Its always spike blockade, monks air tower, lighting aura (for physical resistant mobs), explosive trap (for magical resistant mobs) and frost tower to boost them.

Which means i have to build my characters stats accordingly.

When are the other defences going to come in handy? They can be destroyed so should have much better damage to counter the risk. The monks anti-air tower dumbs down the risk of wyverns. Why not other means to take them out?

Its just boring. Where is the strategy? Let us mix the defenses up. I would like to see flameburst, cannon turrets, poison dart turrets and arcane barriers have a real use. 

The heros have such little purpose in the level. Can only kill the small enemies and try to slow down the rest. Just going around trying to repair the barricades.

I hope things change for the better. It is potentially a great game.
